It has been a minute since I have tapped the keys on BurkReport.com. Life became extremely busy, but I am happy to be back. here.

1- The NFL Draft continues to be amazing. Young men fulfilling a life’s dream. You see the tears of the family members, the college coach’s eyes beaming with pride, and all the hard work that player put in being rewarded. No matter where they came from or where they are going, its an inspirational broadcast every. single. year.

2- Speaking of the NFL Draft, I am so happy the night the Eagles had in round one of the Draft. The Eagles secured their front 4 last night with Jordan Davis. He joins Fletcher Cox, Josh Sweat, and Hassan Reddick. I buried the lede though, the Eagles got one of the top 10 WR’s in the whole NFL in AJ Brown. He ranks third on YPC since 2019. The excuses are now over for Jalen Hurts. P.S. The Eagles still have a second round pick this year, and 2 firsts next year even after making 2 major trades last night.

3- Hunter Dickinson has every right to be upset about the Terrance Shannon Jr. situation. Its bad if Terrance truly couldnt join the Wolverines because of Texas Tech. Why should Texas Tech keep a scholarship closed for Shannon, the Red Raiders have roster needs too, and if Terrance leaves they need to replace him. They need all hands on deck, especially in this quick roster turnaround world we live in with the portal.

4- I was driving a truck for a day while picking up a car rental. It was so refreshing. It made me love all the moments when I drove my dads truck back when I lived in Loda Illinois. Its great to have these bits of nostalgia that hit you at random times.

5- A snack food pick: The Reeces Popcorn is amazing. Bursts of peanut butter and chocolate. Its definitely underrated.
