I will give 5 quick thoughts on 5 wide ranging topics every morning:
- Howie Roseman is insanely good at getting value in trades. He blew the Saints away in Monday’s trade for draft picks. He is on QB watch now, and Howie doesn’t shy away from getting his QB in the draft. (See Wentz, and Hurts).
- Karma always has a way of getting all of us at some point. I wonder if Eric Church is feeling that after canceling his San Antonio show to see UNC in the Final Four. Eric must have been in the arena to see Kansas pull off the biggest comeback in title game history. Im sure the folks in Texas would like for Eric to “Put that in a country song”
- I recently took a trip to Fazoli’s and noticed that they had a recorded public address announcement that they would be washing their hands to help prevent their customers from contracting COVID. I really hope they were washing their hands prior to that.
- I think one of the greatest joys in life has to be betting on yourself and the pride it involves. St. Peters team members Doug Edert, Daryl Banks III and Matthew Lee all entered the transfer portal Tuesday morning. They have earned the right for more shine, and I hope they succeed if they go to Seton Hall where their former coach Shaheen Holloway went. If they go elsewhere, I cant wait to see their new adventure unfold.
- I have a really deep philosophical question: If you dont know the roster of a baseball team in WARdle, is it cheating to look it up if you know the position, division, and by process of elimination the team of that player? I dont think so, it allows you to keep up with the fun and learn something along the way.
